Feminist movement and women empowerment in Africa has finally emerged. But it is still in its infancy and inefficient and its methods and strategies are welfarist at best.
Its concept of development still lacks the salt of conscientizing. It is still operating at the basic level of subsistence, awareness welfare and has a long way to go to reach full control of its destiny. That journey can only be made easy by conscientization, male cooperation and appropriate research.
