Poverty

Poverty is one of the most dreaded enemies of mankind: it is the root- cause of several other problems, including body sickness. Many times, it is the root- cause of depression and untimely death. Several problems stem out of it. However, poverty is not caused by demons all the time. For example, a man who is naturally lazy, who wakes up by 8 or 9.00 a.m, attends to trivial matters at home and gets to his shop by 10.00am., by which time some of his customers have waited for him and left, will experience poverty. Such customers will shift their patronage to a more reliable person, whether an unbeliever or not.

A lazy man will be full of excuses and reasons why things can’t work out positively, why he cannot do this or do that job. If his present job is not too energy sapping, it will be too far, if not too far, the pay will be inadequate, he will always have a reason why he cannot work, but he likes hanging around those who are labouring.
